Dr Ansary has been a consultant Respiratory and Sleep Medicine physician at both The Canberra Hospital and Calvary Hospital since 2012. He began his training here at The Canberra Hospital and Calvary Hospital and subsequently obtained his fellowship at St George Hospital in Sydney. Dr Ansary completed his medical training from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has trained and worked in Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Australia. He is a Clinical Lecturer at The Australian National University. Dr Ansary is a member of various professional organisations, including The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), American Thoracic Society (ATS), European Respiratory Society (ERS), Australasian Sleep Association (ASA) and American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). He has been in private practice as a Respiratory and Sleep disorder specialist since 2012 and has a special interest in chronic cough. In his spare time, Dr Ansary enjoys gardening, fishing, and reading.
